bad bartender experience!, Sep 09, 2009

The bartender was awful. I think he had an irish or british accent and was wondering why he had the job instead of the friendly American bartenders I have talked to in there in the past. In some of these dingy dark gay bars work mean spirited people looking for a fight because thay hate something, their job? their life? They are on a personal power trip. I came in ordered a beer left to go outside to make a phone call because I could not hear in there and when I came back ten minutes later I found that the bartender had thrown the beer away. I asked him where he put it and he told me I gave up the right to drink it because I left. I said I wanted it back: never drank from it, was charged 6 dollars, and that I was only gone ten minutes. He demanded I leave, started yelling and screaming and called security.

Rawhide has gotten a lot of bad press; however, it's my favorite place to kick back and enjoy a beer or two. Regardless of what those Chelsea Queens would say about it they're just jaded and unhappy. Yes, it's small, dark, sometimes smelly but it's where the real men hang out. No where else will you get a drink cheap enough and a crowd so diverse. You get you leather/Levy men, Cha-Cha Queens, and your Corporate suit and tie men. I've had hooked up a couple of times there with no problems. The bartenders and great and plenty of hot Go-Go Boys.

Drop your attitude and head to Rawhide.

Rawhide is dark, small, and friendly. I started going there years ago and stop going because I moved out of the neighborhood. I started going this summer and it's great. Very cruisy and the cheapest price in town. The bartenders are extremely generous. The regular crowd are bunch of great guys.

It's cruisy at times but with poor service. Cheap drinks and dark, too tiny and little or no respect for the patrons from mostly rude bouncers.

don't know if I've ever not hooked up when I wanted to at this place. and that time swapping tounge, spit and poppers with this guy, he pulled out my dick and had me sperm all over his coat. Dark and cruisy, real men. excellent!
