So i had heard of this place from a few friends and was told its bear/cub/chub friendly i agreed to give it a try. IT was nice, i liked how it was split into the two floors, the lower was more traditional "pub" where they did the karaoke and the second floor was the more club-ish atmosphere. drinks where good it really is open to all sub communities of the gay community. strippers were entertaining( in a non sexual way, sorry i was too into my date ;D), ummm bartender was cute and friendly the crowd itself was entertaining as in that at one point(bare in mind its my first time to a gay bar of any kind,been to reg bars before,)so at one point i heard a roar of laughter due to the fact that this one guys stool tipped over and scared him into a new falsetto lol, all in all it was a great time. will def be returning.

I found the Hideaway Bar after moving here from Pennsylvania because I asked someone "Isn't there any gay bars in the suburbs?" and they told me about this place. It's a nice bar and the bartenders are super nice. They give free bottled water if you're the DD which I usually am. The strippers are very nice and very approachable. Karaoke night is very inviting and there's a good selection of songs. Since the place isn't huge you usually don't have to wait too long before your name is called to sing. All-in-all, this bar is a good place to go when you don't feel like driving Downtown and trying to find a parking place or paying $15 to park.
