Nice looking bar - drinks are way overpriced for atmosphere. also the bartenders are really slow. It seems to me that if they are pricing their drinks so high they would put some of it back into the bar. If your looking for a good crowd with better prices try roscoes or bs west.

I have been to Bar 1 several times now - The internet juke box is much preferred to the bartender's hip hop played from his laptop - In general, I have found the crowd to be friendly and my experience positive, however, most bars are willing to take you down once they load you up - After having a few drinks, I was advised that a soda is $3 and coffee is $5.75 - Not very neighborly if you ask me, considering the new drinking laws, and the competition for the gay social business in Phoenix - Overall, a good experience, but don't make it your last stop...! Greed is unattractive no matter where it presents itself!!!
